In essence our submission calls for a CARE scheme capped at £75K and supported by an independent chamber which would focus on sharing risk between members and employers more effectively in the future
Further call for input to review
On the 1st November Lord Hutton sent out a call for evidence to consider when drafting his final report due in March 2011.
This an opportunity for all stakeholders in the LGPS to have their say and we would encourage you to write to Lord Hutton and express your views on the future of the scheme.
The request consists of 25 questions covering:
Scheme structure, Risk, Adequacy of income in retirement, Understanding and choice, Plurality of provision in the public sector, Administration and Transition
Responses are requested by 17th December
